"How to Refresh and Renew Your Space for Spring: Home and Business Edition"

Floral oil painting and and ceramic light pendant, spring inspiration
Floral oil painting to inspire you for spring

As we hurtle towards spring and eventually summer (hooray), it means inevitable changes to the spaces in which we spend most of our time and indeed the spaces in which we wish to entice our customers to linger just that little bit longer.

Enter the seasonal declutter, but I want to urge you to do more this year. Is there a room in your home that you never use out of choice? Or is there an area in your store that you have noticed customers avoiding? It is a known fact that people choose to spend less time in uninspiring, unwelcoming spaces.

Sandra Carmichael Interiors recently completed a full home renovation and on completion, the top of my clients mind was how they never used the dining room in their home before we began the process and they reflected on how much the family had used the space since completing the transformation.

When we receive similar feedback (which is more often than you may think). I often wonder why potential clients wouldn't want to embark on an interior design project to make all the spaces in their lives that they find unwelcoming, heck even depressing - areas that they never want to leave. Are we that fortunate, that we can have existing real estate which we choose not to utilise. Surely not? We have also often found that the spaces we chose not to use before any work has been done, once transformed, are the spaces we end up using the most. Trust me on this one, it's a little like the advice to use sunscreen.

Which room or area is this for you? I know you have one... Why not book an obligation free 30 minute consultation with Sandra Carmichael Interiors and let's make sure together, that you're not wasting space by choosing to avoid areas of your home or leaving that section of your business to look uninviting. We can change it together.

Sandra Carmichael Interiors is a Interior Design Studio based in Haywards Heath. We offer various services and transform businesses, full homes or single rooms. Operating throughout Mid-Sussex we can help in Brighton, Worthing, Crawley, Eastbourne and everywhere in between.
