KITCHEN AND DINING AREA
This client loves colour and the starting point for their dining room makeover was a bright artwork perched on the wall by their table. We used a deep maroon for the walls, thereby enhancing the artwork and creating a cosy dining room space. Colour theory was at the heart of the design, with the space’s other colours working together perfectly.
The kitchen was just off the dining room. We embraced colour saturation methodology in hone in on the perfect primary kitchen colour. The client didn’t want to change the kitchen cabinets but didn’t care for the colour, so we used colour across the rest of the room to detract from the drab cream cabinets. We also added some character with rustic floating shelves, sculptures and art.
